A different Dragon Boat Festival; create a miracle together - Cheung Kei Group’s tour in Zhangjiajie in 2017

During the Dragon Boat Festival of 2017, Cheung Kei Group organized the corporate culture activity of "2017, create a miracle together". Staff of the headquarters of Cheung Kei Group who participated in the activity, left Shenzhen, the fast-paced modern city and came to Zhangjiajie, a place with beautiful landscape just like in the fairy tale world. They suddenly recovered from fatigue and created “four miracles” with an astonishing power and teamwork spirit.

Traces one: Do not get up when the road is hard and see beautiful scenery after an arduous journey

The tour guide said all visitors in Zhangjiajie felt tired and on the first day, everybody felt the physical challenges in the trip at Zhangjiajie. The first stop of the journey is the legendary breathtaking glass bridge. Everybody looked down to the bottom of the valley sitting or lying or sitting around in the glass bridge which is 300 meters high and made various poses to take photos with the blue sky, white clouds, green mountains and valleys. It is thought that this is a pleasant trip, but the next canyon hike made everyone realize that they are “too young and too simple”.

If you want a walk in the canyon, you must come down the mountain and pass a ladder road which is almost vertical, extending to the bottom of the canyon in height of 300 meters. The yellow-bellied was already trembling and the daring people were carefully moving down holding the handrails. Although the journey downhill is difficult, no one gives up, nor asks for a break and even if their legs are trembling, they walk down step by step holding the handrails. Finally all members reached the bottom of the canyon. At the bottom, the landscape is very different with that of the peak. Although it is not so grand and majestic, it is poetic with singing birds and blooming flowers. It felt so good to see great scenery after a hard journey.

Traces two: share the joys and sorrows together to explore the Huanglong Cave

The second station is world wonders of cave in Zhangjiajie -Huanglong cave. With the tourist guide, they choose a road which is hard at first and happy at the end. They first walk on 500 staircases when many of them have felt very exhausted, but encouraged with the experienced colleagues and overcame the difficulties and finally all the team members reached the most entertaining cave of Huanglong. In the cave, lights and stones are everywhere just like a old tree extending its branches. In the cave, which is" China's most beautiful tourist cave", there are small caves and rivers in the cave, just like an "underground magic palace". There is a sea god needle in the cave which has been insured of RMB 100 million and it is 200,000 years old. It is said that the needle can connect with the top of the cave in 40,000 years. They pass Xiangshui River in boats and go through the Dragon King Party Hall, Tianxian Water, Tianzhu Street and other famous attractions. In every place, they exclaimed over the wonders of nature. After finishing this tour route, Cheung Kei’s colleagues have become adventure teammates and advance together hand in hand.

Traces three: Guess the names of stones to have a funny brainstorming

Cheung Kei staff are all knowledgeable and talented and well showed them during the trip. When visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, they climbed the Tianzi Mountain through the cableway with a deep down view. The climbed the magnificent Mihun platform to view the fancy peak forest and magnificent karst landscape. They walk on the No.1 bridge of the world and explore the fancy world of Avatar at “A pillar supporting the southern heaven above”. The walked cross the “Ten-mile Gallery” and viewed “Golden Cock Announces Dawn”, “the old man collecting herbs”, “Birthday greeting” and “Tiger’s roar”. In the highest exposed sightseeing elevator in the world – Bailong Elevator, the changing of perspectives made them feel like another world. After several scenic spots led by the tour guide, they found that it seems that every stone in Zhangjiajie has its own name, so they started to brainstorm and guess the name of every stone in an warm atmosphere, which made them familiar with each other. They communicated with each other and laid foundation for future cooperation in the work.

Traces four: Walked 20,000 steps in a day and challenge the new record height

The uncanny workmanship of nature makes Zhangjiajie peculiar in its topography and landform. It can be described as a small scene in every five steps and a big one in every ten steps. The natural scenery is so beautiful that everybody cannot stop their footsteps and made a much longer time exercise than in their normal days. In the two days of trip in Zhangjiajie, they walked more than 20,000 steps each day and ranked first undoubtedly in sports volume in their WeChat moments which can be called another history record in their lives.  

The trip coincides with the Chinese Traditional Dragon Boat Festival and it is another kind of dragon-boat festival holiday with the family of Cheung Kei in the trip to Zhangjiajie. They challenged their sports limit with a daily walk of 20,000 steps and it will certainly become everybody’s unforgettable memory.
