Cheung Kei celebrates "The Breeze of March, Beautiful Like You": Employees' quarterly birthday party

March is the season for cherry blossoms, and Cheung Kei Group has ushered in this season with an employees' birthday party for the first quarter of 2019, themed "The Breeze of March, Beautiful Like You". On March 29, 2019, Cheung Kei Group's Vice President Chen Pengyu, the supervisors and representatives of several business divisions, and 25 employees celebrating their birthdays came together on the 30th floor of the Cheung Kei Building for a joint-celebration party. The event was lively and festive, with attendees mingling and interacting with each other in high spirits. This gathering had enhanced the team cohesion and fostered the employees' sense of belonging to the company.

A warm and harmonious vibe

On the day of the event, the staff from the Human Resources & Administration Department had decorated the venue in line with the theme of the birthday party. The room was decorated refreshingly in lively colors that evoke a sense of nature, with green balloons, ornamental flowers, green-colored snacks, tidbits, and beverages... it was almost as if the employees were teleported to an oasis in the middle of a forest. The employees attending the gathering were captivated by the ambiance of the venue, and were enthusiastically snapping photographs with their own mobile phones.

After the host had given the opening remarks, the birthday party officially began. The host then introduced each of the employees celebrating their birthdays, and shared photographs of the flower bouquets, birthday cards that were signed and filled with well wishes from the employee's colleagues, and birthday cakes that they had received on the actual dates of their birthdays. Afterward, Vice President Chen Pengyu proceeded to the stage to give a few words expressing the birthday wishes on behalf of the company. The employees celebrating their birthdays also received an exquisite gift during the gathering.

The first activity of the day was a "moss terrarium workshop". During this activity, employees planted and created their own moss terrarium individually, cultivating not only a plant, but also their creativity, innovation skills, and their hands-on crafting ability, at the same time, the workshop also matches with the springtime theme of the birthday event. The activity was well received by all the participants, and got everyone busy brainstorming, getting their hands on in this friendly competition. A variety of moss terrariums were crafted at the end of this session, and participants had a fun time commenting and appreciating each other's creations, and even exchanging them as gifts in the cozy and relaxed atmosphere.

The birthday party was also filled with other amusing and surprising moments, as a "Courage Challenge for the Little Cowards" game took place next. Three employees were to stand next to three "dare boxes", each containing different unknown objects. As the host lifts the veils covering the front of the dare boxes, the mysterious contents of each box are revealed to the colleagues sitting in the audience. Then, the participants on stage have to reach their hands into the dare boxes, to guess the items in the box purely by the sense of touch, participants making the correct guesses would then receive a gift. The three employees participating in the game were bold and fearless, and were able to quickly give accurate answers to what was contained in the boxes: a frog, a hamster, and jelly. This game was met with rapturous laughter from the participants and the audience alike, as the participants cheered their friends on for their courage.

As a familiar melody began playing, a birthday cake was brought into the room, and everyone began singing the happy birthday song. The employees celebrating their birthdays then made their wishes and the candles were blown, before Vice President Chen Pengyu helped out with the cake cutting. It was a jovial time for the employees as they shared a delicious cake, and spent these precious moments together on this special day.

At the end of the birthday party, all participants took a group photo together to commemorate this unforgettable occasion. Duringthe event, employees had a heartfelt experience of the company's corporate culture and the camaraderie of the Cheung Kei family, as they look forward to the next birthday party which would be equally remarkable and filled with surprises.
