At 8:45 am, November 19, 2016, drums beats started in the Sunrise Theater of Shenzhen Bay. The fifth session of the "The Community Chest’s Walks for Millions" kicked off. Over 120 employees of Cheung Kei Group together with their families wear red T-shirts and walk for love in orderly square team with big smile on their faces to support the cause of public welfare. In this event, Cheung Kei Group donated RMB300,000 and is the company who made the biggest donations. This is the third time for Cheung Kei Group to participate in the event and its cumulative donation amounted to RMB800,000 during three years.

As for the activity of "The Community Chest’s Walks for Millions", everyone of the Group is highly enthusiastic and is very supportive of a healthy walk for public welfare. Many employees also brought their relatives and friends to participate in which strengthened the walking team, among which, the youngest participant was only 8 months old. At 9:20, with the organizer’s command, the Group's walking team set off followed the organizer of Shenzhen Newspaper Group and move forward along the sightseeing road of seaside park. On the way, the walking team encountered a rain, but it did not pour out the enthusiasm of the Group staffs. Some held umbrellas and encouraged each other in the rain while others walking energetically regardless of rain.

After more than 40 minutes, the walking team of Cheung Kei Group firstly arrived at the end and got applause and cheers. Although it is still raining, for each participant of Cheung Kei Group, it is with special meaning to walk in the rain for love. Some employees said that President Chen is a philanthropist and Cheung Kei Group is called a "Benevolent Enterprise". As a member of the staff, he felt proud. Some employees said that the event not only delivered love, but also enhanced cohesion among team members, deepened connections among the staff. Some employees also said, their children participated in the charitable activities and it can make them feel happiness in helping others which is good for them…At last, employees who participated in the event took photos and cheered up for victory.
