Nanshan District CPPCC Vice-Chairman Chen Shu'ai Leading Delegation in Business Visit to Cheung Kei Group

On 15 September 2020, Nanshan District CPPCC Vice-Chairman Chen Shu'ai led a delegation in a business visit to Cheung Kei Group, to provide guidance on the resumption of production, understand the current business situation, and to listen to the problems and policy demands from the business sector. Chen Xiaoxia, Executive Vice President of Cheung Kei Group and a member of the Nanshan District CPPCC, extended a warm welcome to Chen Shu'ai and other Nanshan District CPPCC members in the delegation. The visiting delegation sat down for a meeting with representatives of the company for a cordial and friendly discussion.

Vice-Chairman Chen Shu'ai and his delegation were accompanied by VP Chen Xiaoxia on their tour of Cheung Kei Group's offices, to learn more about the company's working environment and current business situation. During the symposium held afterwards, the delegation and Vice-Chairman Chen Shu'ai first watched a promotional video of Cheung Kei Group, to learn more about the Group's current development, achievements, corporate social responsibility efforts and so on.

Vice-Chairman Chen Shu'ai expressed his gratitude to Vice President Chen Xiaoxia for her hospitality. He said that the CPPCC is a big family and there is a strong bond between its members, who look forward to supporting and learning from each other through different forms of exchanges. He hoped that each CPPCC member would capitalise on the role they play in the CPPCC, to participate in politics and contribute to the economic and social development of Nanshan District proactively. Vice-Chairman Chen Shu'ai also applauded Cheung Kei Group as a respectable business with a strong sense of social responsibility. He applauded Executive Vice President Chen Xiaoxia, as senior management of this outstanding business, for working hard in leading the development of the company to greater heights.

Executive Vice President Chen Xiaoxia thanked Vice-Chairman Chen Shu'ai for his recognition and compliments for Cheung Kei Group and her. She introduced the development strategy, investment direction and corporate social responsibility philosophy of the Group to those in attendance. She said that Cheung Kei Group is an international value investment group with a focus on investment and acquisition of quality properties, capital market equity, and financial assets in metropolitan areas around the world. In the future, the Group will expand its investment scope to include agriculture, education and healthcare sectors. Finally, she shared her opinions and recommendations for retaining talents in Nanshan, as a CPPCC member of the district, and concluded that she hopes to make further contributions to the district.

During the meeting, Executive Vice President Chen Xiaoxia also embarked on a discussion with the CPPCC members present on issues such as investment strategies, risk control, and she shared the operational experience of the Group's successful investment cases. Finally, the seminar concluded with a lively discussion.
