Dr. Chen Hongtian Attended Signing Ceremony for Strategic Cooperation Agreement Between Harmony Club and Wuliangye Group

On June 21, 2021, Dr. Chen Hongtian, a member of the CPPCC National Committee, a Justice of the Peace appointed by the HKSAR, Chairman of Harmony Club, and Chairman of Cheung Kei Group and other renowned entrepreneurs from Shenzhen and Hong Kong were invited to visit Wuliangye Group in Yibin, Sichuan Province. Fellow entrepreneurs in attendance include Li Hua, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shenzhen Excellence Group and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Harmony Club.

The group was warmly received by Li Shuguang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Wuliangye Group; and Zeng Congqin, Vice Chairman and General Manager of Wuliangye Group, and Chairman of Wuliangye Yibin Co., Ltd. The group held a business symposium and signed a strategic cooperation agreement during the meeting. Other business delegates in attendance include Chen Zheng, Party Secretary and Director of the Standing Committee of Yibin Municipal People's Congress; Li Xuejiao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department; and Cui Minrong, former Member of the Standing Committee of the Shenzhen Political Consultative Conference and Director of the Economic Committee.

During his speech, Dr. Chen Hongtian remarked that Wuliangye has an extensive history as a famous Chinese liquor, and has enjoyed great success over the years. And under the leadership of Chairman Li Shuguang in recent years, Wuliangye Group has continued to reform and innovate, to achieve over 100 billion Yuan in sales, and the brand is gaining more attention in the high-end liquor market increasingly. Harmony Club has more than 150 members, who are all leading entrepreneurs and business elites from various industries and sectors in Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Together, the assets under the club's management have exceeded 11 trillion Yuan, reflecting its strong influence in China and internationally. Today, Harmony Club and Wuliangye Group are joining hands to promote the development of the Wuliangye brand in the international and domestic high-end market. The signing of the strategic cooperation agreement

During the symposium, the business delegates also signed the "Wuliangye Group - Harmony Club Strategic Cooperation Agreement". Wang Zaixing, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hydoo International Holding and Vice Chairman of Harmony Club; and Zeng Congqin, Vice Chairman of Wuliangye Group, represented the respective sides during the signing ceremony. The signatories will establish an effective system to jointly promote and increase Wuliangye's market share in the high-end tier of the liquor consumption market in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau Bay Area - and globally eventually. Through in-depth cooperation in multiple industries and different approaches, the agreement will support Wuliangye as it continues to bring glory to China’s liquor industry.
