Cheung Kei Group Wins Accolade of "40 Years Of Shenzhen SEZ: Outstanding Corporate Contribution in CSR".

On 1 September 2020, the“40 Years of Shenzhen SEZ, Corporate Social Responsibility Development”conference was held at the Westin Hotel in Shenzhen Nanshan. The event was hosted by Nanfang Daily and the CSR Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), with the support of the Shenzhen Charity Federation and the Shenzhen Innovation Corporate Social Responsibility Development Center (CSRDC). At the conference, Cheung Kei Group received an award in "40 Years Of Shenzhen SEZ: Outstanding Corporate Contribution in CSR", and the group's Executive Vice President Chen Xiaoxia was invited to attend the conference and receive the award on behalf of the company.

Over the years, Cheung Kei Group has donated over HK$500 million to various charitable causes and institutions, to support education, youth development, patriotism, national education, poverty alleviation, disasterrelief, health care, and other key areas.

The organisers presented the "40 Years Of Shenzhen SEZ: Outstanding Corporate Contribution in CSR" to Cheung Kei Group, as an acknowledgement of the company's outstanding contributions in corporate citizenship. Executive Vice President Chen Xiaoxia said that Cheung Kei Group has always been committed to the welfare of society through various charitable causes, and it actively participates in many charity events in Shenzhen to give back to society. The group hopes to set a good example, and join forces with various stakeholders in society and share a new common mission of corporate social responsibility in this new era.

Awards in "Green Sustainable Development Benchmark Enterprise", "Pioneer Enterprise in Charity & Welfare", "Outstanding Contribution to CSR in 40 Years of Shenzhen SAR", "Enterprise with Outstanding CSR Contribution", and "Individuals with Outstanding Contribution to CSR" were presented at the event. Other businesses that won the "Outstanding Corporate Contribution" award included Huawei Technologies, Shenzhen Tencent Computer Systems, Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, Overseas Chinese Town Group, Shenzhen High-Tech Investment Group, Shenzhen Neptunus Group, BGI Group, and the Shenzhen Branch of the Industrial & Commercial Bank of China. The conference honoured and paid tribute to these influential and prominent enterprises and individuals.
