The plenary session for the 13th National Committee of the All-China Youth Federation (ACYF), the most important youth organisation in China, successfully concluded on the afternoon of 18 August, 2020. Chen Vincent Peng Yu

, member of the Shenzhen CPPCC and Cheung Kei Group's Vice President, was in attendance and he was elected as a member of the All-China Youth Federation's 13th National Committee.

Chen Vincent Peng Yu, Vice President of Cheung Kei Group, was elected as a member on the 13th Committee of the All-China Youth Federation.

Mr. Chen Vincent Peng Yu is a member of the Sixth Shenzhen CPPCC, a member of the Eleventh Liaoning CPPCC, and he is serving in various roles for social organisations, including Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong CPPCC Youth Federation,Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Guangdong Youth Association, Special Inspector of the Shenzhen Municipal Supervisory Committee, Vice Chairman of the Shenzhen Harmony Club Youth Committee, Director of the Shenzhen Overseas Friendship Association, Vice Chairman of the Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Care Foundation, and Director of the Shenzhen Project Care Foundation. Mr. Chen Vincent Peng Yu participates in politics actively, and performs his duties as a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference diligently. He is proactive in reporting on public sentiments, and on social issues that affect the community's livelihood. He is a key player in building a platform for communication and exchanges between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Mr. Chen organises and participates in the activities with young talents, leaders of youth groups and academia from Shenzhen and Hong Kong. He organises exchange activities for young entrepreneurs in both cities,to promote cooperation and meaningful exchanges between youths in Hong Kong and the Mainland, to promote a cohesive country.

Mr. Chen has always been committed to the welfare of society through various charitable causes. He has donated a total sum of over HK$45 million to social welfare and organisations in his own capacity, or on behalf of Cheung Kei Group, contributing to areas such as education, patriotism, poverty alleviation, and health care. He was recognised as one of the pioneers of Shenzhen's "Creative Second Generation" by Shenzhen Economic Daily.

Established on 4 May, 1949, the All-China Youth Federation (ACYF) is a federative body of Chinese youth organizations and excellent youth nationwide. The ACYF gathers all young talents, elites, role models, and outstanding individuals in different sectors. This year, 1375 members were elected to the 13th National Committee of the ACYF. The members will live up to their commitment and responsibilities as fulfil their duties as members of ACYF, and contribute their strengths for the national progress of ACYF responsibly.
