Dr. Chen Hongtian donates HK$20 million to the Full Caring Foundation of Hong Kong

In the evening of August 5, 2016, the Chairman of the Board of Cheung Kei Group, Chairman Dr. Chen Hongtian, attended the "Opening Ceremony of Full Caring Charity Gala in Hong Kong", sponsored by the Hong Kong Taxi Driver Practitioners Association and the Full Caring Foundation. He donated HK$20 million to the Full Caring Foundation and witnessed this event with a total of 8,000 people, including Mr. Zhang Xiaoming, the Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong S.A.R., Mr. Jasper Tsang Yok-sing, President of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong, Mr. Stephen Sui Wai-keung, Deputy Secretary for Labour and Welfare of the Hong Kong SAR government, Ms. Florence Hui Hiu-fai, Deputy Secretary for Home Affairs Bureau of Hong Kong, entrepreneur representatives, guests from all walks of life and members of Full Caring Foundation.

It is known that the Full Caring Foundation has raised HKD193 million charitable funds. At the meeting, Chairman Dr. Chen Hongtian and Director Mr. Zhang Xiaoming, President Mr. Jasper Tsang Yok-sing, Chairman of the Foundation and entrepreneurs who made donations jointly started the "Full Caring Action", which will wholeheartedly help the needy members and their families with the purpose of "caring for the community, serving the society, obeying law and loving the family".Over the years, Chairman Dr. Chen Hongtian has been enthusiastic about social philanthropy, and has made an accumulated donations of over RMB100 million to various social welfare undertakings and progressive groups.

"Hong Kong's Full Caring Foundation" is launched by another member of the Harmony Club, CPPCC member Wang Liping, and received support from a number of members of the club. Among them, Wang Liping donated HK$40 million, Zheng Kanhao donated HK$20 million, Huang Guangmiao donated HK$5 million, and a donation of HK$5 million is made by He Yixin and Zhou Chunling.
