Cheung Kei Group has received the "2019-2020 Caring Company" title in recognition of their corporate citizenship efforts and outstanding contributions to charity and the wider community in fulfilling its corporate social responsibility in the past year.

The "Caring Company" Award Received by Cheung Kei Group

Launched by The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) in 2002, the Caring Company Scheme aims to foster strategic partnerships between the business and social services sectors to promote good corporate citizenship and create a more inclusive society. The scheme also helps corporations and social services organizations to know and understand one another at a much deeper level. This will create more room for working together to develop cross-sector community projects that focus on the vital needs of the community.

This is the 18th year since the inception of the "CaringCompany" initiative, and the number of participating businesses and social service organizations has grown from 200 to over 4000 today. The business-government-communitytri-partite partnership platform is a major force behind social cohesion and development. The award is evaluated on the criteria of "care for the community", "care for employees", and "care for the environment". The "Caring Company" logo is awarded to businesses that have made substantial contributions to express their care to the society, thereby encouraging the private sector to work hand in hand to build a more harmonious society. The award is recognition of Cheung Kei Group's proactive stance in pursuing corporate social responsibility and contributions to the development of the society.

Over the years, Cheung Kei Group has been proactive in contributing to various charitable causes as the company develops steadily, it has been committed to promoting sustainable development to create a more harmonious society. Cheung Kei Group has established close relationships with non-profit organizations in HKSAR and Mainland China, to help uplift impoverished communities, and to support educational and youth-oriented development projects. To date, the company has donated over 500 million Hong Kong dollars to charities, civic groups, and patriotic associations.
