On December 28, 2018, Cheung Kei Group's 2018 Annual Work Report presentation was convened at Cheung Kei Building. The meeting was attended by over 20 participants, including Executive Vice Chairperson Chen Xiaoxia, Vice President Chen Pengyu, Assistant to the Chairman Cheng Bo, and the supervisors of the corporation's Business Planning and Development Department, Legal & Compliance Supervision Department, Engineering Management Department, Project Cost Management Department, Design Management Department, Business Investment & Expansion Department, Branding Department, Operations Management Department, the Chairman's Office, Human Resources & Administration Department, Business Management and Marketing Department, Assets & Capital Management Department, Financial Management Department, several professional managers, and the supervisors of the company's subsidiaries such its Zhuhai branch and its property management company.

During the Annual Work Report meeting

During the meeting, the supervisors of the respective departments, the professional managers, and heads of the company's subsidiaries gave a retrospective review and summary of their department or division's work and achievements for 2018, providing an assessment of their own performance targets and results. An objective analysis on their inadequacies and issues were also presented, along with the corresponding resolutions and improvement measures, with the in-depth analysis and reports being supported by charts and databases. In addition, the work plans and assignments of the department or subsidiary for 2019 are also discussed.

After listening the respective work reports, Executive Vice Chairperson Chen Xiaoxia gave her acknowledgments to the summaries and performance reports presented at the meeting. She then gave her evaluation remarks on the performance of the respective departments and subsidiary companies in 2018, and commended where performance has exceeded expectations, and provided constructive criticisms and recommendations where there are inadequacies. Finally, requirements and guidance were also given regarding the work plan of 2019. Executive Vice Chairperson Chen Xiaoxia remarked that although the company had made robust efforts on internal management and controlin 2018, resulting in significant improvements in standardization and lean management, several shortcomings still persist. Moving forward in 2019, the strengthening of internal management systems will be one of the key focuses ofthe company, as it establishes a more scientific approach to management, as it refines business processes for the purpose of lean management, and as processes are standardized, in order to improve and reinforce the overall enterprise management system. The performance assessment process will be optimized, and a system of rewards and penalties will be implemented to provide outstanding employees with better development prospects and benefits.

She emphasized that the supervisors of the respective departments and heads of the company's subsidiaries need to maintaina high level of professional ethics, and continuously improve and develop their own abilities, decision-making skills, leadership qualities, and problem-solving ability. They should also establish a stringent sense of accountability, perform their job requirements, to ensure that the highest standards and quality is set in each department and across all teams. All employees must build a sense of ownership, learn to take initiative in action and in planning, improve their individual capabilities and work quality, and break out of their bad habits and negative working style, to grow and develop together with the company and to actualize their true potential.

Vice President Chen Pengyu then gave a keynote evaluation and supplemental feedback on the work and performance of the Asset Management Department, Financial Management Department in 2018. He also provided feedback and reasonable recommendations on the areas for improvement in their work, as well as new task requests and refined directives that the teams should perform in 2019.

The Work Report Presentation concluded successfully, with the presenters gaining more in sights on their respective job scope, and provided an opportunity for them to interact across departments and learn from each other. As a sense of urgency toward their work is heightened, the employees' sense of responsibility is also amplified, and the business will undoubtedly be enriched in all areas in 2019. The presenters will learn from the feedback and requirements that the firm has given to the respective departments and subsidiary companies, and implement such recommendations in their work.
