Moutai Group Chairman Li Baofang visits Dr. Chen Hongtian

On October 17, 2018, Li Baofang, the Party secretary, Chairman and General Manager of Kweichow Moutai Group made a visit to Dr. Chen Hongtian, a CPPCC National Committee member, a Justice of the Peace appointed by the Hong Kong SAR, and Chairman of the Cheung Kei Group. The two had a rewarding discussion and exchange of ideas on Kweichow Moutai Group's future business opportunities with Cheung Kei Group and other enterprises in Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Other leaders of the business sector from Shenzhen and HongKong, including Xu Hang, Chairman of Shenzhen Parkland Group Co., Ltd., was also in attendance at the meeting.

Since May 2017, Dr. Chen Hongtian and a delegation comprising of business leaders from Shenzhen and Hong Kong had conducted several exchanges of visits with the Kweichow Moutai Group. A cooperation between the Kweichow Moutai Group and Cheung Kei Group along with other Shenzhen and Hong Kong businesses has been reached, for the quality of the national liquor to be imparted to the "Shenshang Liquor" brand registered by the Shenzhen and Hong Kong business leaders, so the brands can make a concerted effort to foster the cultural development of the national liquor. At the end of 2017, the operation center of Shenshang Liquor was officially launched. As a high-end liquor produced and brewed by Maotai Group, Shenshang Liquor has tapped into the massive opportunity to fill a gap in the liquor sector of Shenzhen, where there has been no iconic liquor product from Shenzhen serving the high-end market segment.
