Director of Futian District Bureau Hu Yonghui Visits Cheung Kei Group

April 17, 2018, Hu Yonghui, Director of Futian District Bureau, Shenzhen Municipal Administration of State Taxation, visited Cheung Kei Group and met with Dr. Chen Hongtian, Chairman of Cheung Kei Group, CPPCC member and Justice of the Peace of Hong Kong, Chen Xiaoxia, Executive Vice President of Cheung Kei Group, and Chen Pengyu, Vice President of Cheung Kei Group, to have an in-depth discussion on company tax as well as the optimization of taxation operating environment in Shenzhen. Liao Jiewei, Deputy Director of Futian District Bureau, Shenzhen Municipal Administration of State Taxation, representatives from District Administration of State Taxation, Policy and Regulation Department, Taxation Service Department, Tax Collectionand Management Department and Tax Source Management, Yang Zhenning, Director-General of Chairman Office of the Group and representative of Financial Management Centre of the Group also attended the seminar.

Chairman Chen Hongtian warmly welcomed Director Hu and his delegation. They watched Cheung Kei Group corporate videos to have a thorough understanding of the current development and future plans of the Group. When introducing the company, Chairman Chen Hongtian particularly emphasized that Cheung Kei Group is a Hong Kong investment group with its business activities mainly in Hong Kong while its domestic investments center is located in Shenzhen. Chairman Chen Hongtian believed that the harmonious relationship between taxation and corporations benefits the development of corporations and China's economy. Recently, Shenzhen national tax system has been optimizing its tax services to enhance tax declaration efficiency. It also strives to understand corporations' needs in a timely and active manner, to provide tax consultation services, to help corporations to prevent tax risks inadvance and to create a good operating environment for business. He also mentioned that the Group made a number of big acquisitions last year in London, United Kingdom and exchanged views on UK's excellent taxation policies and systems with Director Hu and his delegation.

During the seminar, Director Hu and his delegation answered questions raised by Dr. Chen Hongtian and looked forward to his valuable feedback on the work of District Administration of State Taxation. District Administration of State Taxation will adopt a more targeted approach to offer its service and to provide a good tax environment for large corporations in Futian District, such as Cheung Kei Group, for their sustainable development.
