Cheung Kei Group Wishes a Good Start of 2018

February 26, 2018, the lunar date of January 11 marked the first workday at Cheung Kei Group after Chinese New Year break.  In the morning of that day, Cheung Kei Group Chairman Dr. Chen Hongtian, CPPCC member and Justice of the Peace of Hong Kong, came to the office and distributed redpackets to employees as a blessing, along with Chen Xiaoxia, Executive Vice President of Cheung Kei Group as well as Chen Pengyu, Vice President of Cheung Kei Group.

The Group follows the tradition of Hong Kong and Guangdong, with executives giving out red packets to employees on the first day of work resumption to celebrate Chinese New Year and wish them good fortune. This demonstrated our benefits and caring to our employees who indicated that the red packets made them feel blessed of being part of the big family of Cheung Kei Group. Not only did this shorten the distance among others, but it also helped construct a friendly team. Everyone was very pleased to receive red packets on this special occasion.

Requesting red packets was fun for employees who said auspicious wishes to each other for the year ahead. Red packets are traditionally in paper form, but now the digital and virtual red packets with mobile payment application WeChat and QRcode scan add more colour to the act of requesting red packets. With good luck and blessing, everyone was so happy that they celebrated Chinese New Year in a festive atmosphere.

In the afternoon, Chairman Dr. Chen Hongtian convened a management meeting.
