On June 16, 2017, Executive Vice President of Cheung Kei Group, CPPCC member of Nanshan District, Vice Chairman of Nanshan New Federation of Social Strata Ms. Chen Xiaoxia attended the awarding ceremony of the Special Committee of New Federation of Social Strata and the book launch of China's New Strata held in the virtual college park in the Science Park. In the meeting, Executive Vice President Ms. Chen Xiaoxia was appointed as director of the Special Committee of Representatives of Management in Private and Foreign Enterprises of the New Federation of Social Strata. She accepted the plaque granted by the United Front Department of Nanshan District.

In the event, Executive Vice President Ms. Chen Xiaoxia also won the medal for being a member with outstanding contributions for the New Federation of Social Strata of Nanshan District. On behalf of Cheung Kei Group, she donated RMB500,000 to Guanzhong Village, Lianping County Heyuan City which is designated to be helped by Nanshan District.

The donation

The New Federation of Social Strata of Nanshan District is a social organization formed by the new social stratum, led by the United Front Department of the district and was formally established in December 2014, and has been developed to absorb 96 elite members from all walks of life. According to the "new social strata" defined by the United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee and the "guiding principle, the New Federation of Social Strata of Nanshan District set up four Special Committees: representatives of management of the corresponding private enterprises and foreign enterprises, representatives of social organizations, new media representatives and freelance professionals. Carefully screened representatives are appointed as directors of the Special Committees and all the members are included in the relevant special committees to make the member organizations more active.
