Dr. Chen Hongtian, CPPCC member, Hong Kong Justice of the Peace & Chairman of both Cheung Kei and Harmony Club held a discussion on Sept. 1, 2017 with the presidium led by Huang Yucun, the designate chairman of Youth Chawnese Sodality of Shenzhen (szchaoqing) in the Harmony Building, to exchange experience and interact with each other. The discussion was also attended by Cui Minrong, director of Shenzhen CPPCC and Economy Committee, Yin Xiaoman, former inspector of United Front Work Department under Shenzhen Municipal Committee and Liu Junlin, standing committee member of Futian District, Shenzhen.

Chairman Chen and Chairman Huang exchange their ideas

Dr. Chen notes that Harmony Club has just moved to a new building today, and on behalf of the Club, he welcomes the presence of Chairman Huang and his party. Harmony Club and szchaoqing are brothers closely tied to each other, and szchaoqing is a united, industrious and influential association. Hehopes that the two associations could conduct more exchanges in future.

Dr. Chen also shared his idea and experience about organizing an association. He said, to organize an association means dedication, contribution of time and money, and the courage to stand out when any member faces challenge or unfair treatment, as well as the initiative to serve everyone wholeheartedly and faithfully. It's also about building a platform where the enterprises in the group help and support each other for mutual growth. He emphasized that it's hard work but worthwhile, as we don't judge people only by how rich they are, but how contributive they are to the society.

Harmonious atmosphere on the site

Chairman Huang highlighted the achievement of Harmony Club. He noticed that he came here with two purposes: learn and discuss the culture of chamber of commerce; and invite the Club to attend the upcoming 20th Anniversary Celebration & General Election Ceremony of szchaoqing. Also, he expressed his sincere thanks to the Club's support to szchaoqing, and his hope that this discussion would help both parties establish a normal, smooth channel of contact and lead to more frequent communication and cooperation for their mutual development.
