Congratulations to Chairman Dr. Chen Hongtian for Being Appointed as a Member of the 13th National Committee of the CPPCC

The 24th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 12th National Committee of the CPPCC was opened in Beijing on the morning of January 22, 2018, preparing for the first meeting of the 13th session of the National Committee of the CPPCC. Yu Zhengsheng, Chairman of the National Committee of the CPPCC, attended the opening meeting. The meeting negotiated and decided the participating units, the number of members and the list of candidates for themembers of the 13th National Committee of the CPPCC. Dr. Chen Hongtian (a CPPCC member, Hong Kong Justice of the Peace and Chairman of Cheung Kei Group) was appointed as a member of the 13th National Committee of the CPPCC. This was the third time that he was elected as a CPPCC member.

On March 10, 2017, Chairman Dr. Chen Hongtian invited to be a guest for "the Special Interview for 2017 Xihuanet China's Two Sessions"

In 2008, Chairman Dr. Chen Hongtian was appointed as a member of the 11th National Committee of the CPPCC. In 2013, he was again appointed as a member of the 12th National Committee of the CPPCC. In 2018, he continued to serve as a member of the 13th National Committee of the CPPCC. He actively participates in the administration and discussion of state affairs, performs his duties, makes suggestions and gives advices so as to contribute to social progress and economic development.
