Dr. Chen Hongtian Attending Business Symposium with Fellow Shenzhen & Hong Kong Entrepreneurs and Deputy Secretary of Zhaoqing Municipal Party Committee Mr.Fan Zhongjie

On August 13, 2020, Dr. Chen Hongtian, a memberof the CPPCC National Committee, a Justice of the Peace appointed by the HKSAR, and Chairman of Cheung Kei Group was invited to Zhaoqing for a field visit along with other entrepreneurs from Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The business delegation was warmly received by the Deputy Secretary of Zhaoqing Municipal Party Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Zhaoqing Municipal People's Congress, Mr. Fan Zhongjie; and other leaders of the municipal government.

At the meeting, Dr. Chen Hongtian expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Secretary Mr. Fan Zhongjie for his warm reception, and spoke highly of the development and growth of Zhaoqing. Dr. Chen said that he had previously visited the city in May 2018 along with over 20 entrepreneurs from Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The business delegation visit gave him an insight to the city's investment environment, and he was impressed by the diligent and pragmatic approach of the Zhaoqing Municipal Government.

Dr. Chen shared that as one of the cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area city cluster, Zhaoqing is set for a golden era of growth, and he hopes the Zhaoqing government will continue to fostera conducive business environment to in turn attract more Shenzhen and Hong Kong entrepreneurs to invest and establish businesses in the city. Shenzhen and HongKong entrepreneurs endeavor to continue working together with Zhaoqing for common development and contribute to the economic development of the Bay Area.

Secretary Mr. Fan Zhongjie expressed his appreciation to the Shenzhen and Hong Kong entrepreneurs for their active participation in Zhaoqing's development and progress. Mr. Fan introduced the economic condition in Zhaoqing this year, along with Zhaoqing's industrial development strategy and associated industrial support policies. Headded that Zhaoqing aims to provide better conditions conducive to the creation and growth of enterprises, and hoped that the visit would equip the entrepreneurs with better insights, and would reaffirm their commitment to strengthen cooperation and exchange to achieve a win-win situation.

Finally, the entrepreneurs' delegation from Shenzhen and Hong Kong exchanged souvenirs with representatives from the Zhaoqing Municipal Government. Li Ben, Standing Committee Member of the Municipal Committee of the CPC and Executive Vice Mayor of Zhaoqing; Tang Xiaobing, Vice Mayor of the Municipal Government and Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Zhaoqing New District; Ye Cunju, Deputy Director of the Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau; Li Xiao Yong, Chairman of Shenzhen Huachengfeng Group; Zou Jianmin, Chairman of Chenda Holding Group; Guo Deying, Chairman of Spring Woods Group; and You Zhonghui, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fortune High Investment Group also participated in the symposium.
