Dr. Chen Hongtian Visiting Moutai Group in Guizhou For Business Exchange Trip with Fellow Shenzhen & Hong Kong Entrepreneurs

On 20 July, 2020, Dr. Chen Hongtian, a member of the CPPCC National Committee, a Justice of the Peace appointed by the HKSAR, Chairman of Harmony Club and Chairman of Cheung Kei Group, visited Moutai Group in Guizhou on a chartered flight along with other entrepreneurs from Shenzhen and Hong Kong.  The delegation was warmly received by Gao Weidong, Chairman and Secretary of the Party Committee of Moutai Group; and Li Jingren, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the group, along with other key management personnel. The business delegation and representatives of Moutai Group had a business symposium during the trip, and reached a consensus on continuing their collaboration, and sharing of resources in the future.

Since 2017, Dr. Chen Hongtian has established a regular communication and exchange network with Moutai Group, along with fellow Shenzhen and HongKong entrepreneurs; members of the network engage in frequent exchanges and visits, to form stronger and more meaningful relationships. During this period, Shenzhen and Hong Kong businesses, including Cheung Kei Group, have cooperatedwith Moutai Group to launch exclusive, tailor-made products for Shenzhen and Hong Kong entrepreneurs, to incorporate the quality of the national liquor into the "Shenshang Wine" brand registered by Shenzhen and Hong Kong entrepreneurs, with an aim to join forces and promote the culture of Moutai, the national liquor.

At the symposium, Dr Chen Hongtian said that Moutai is a renowned brand that symbolises China on the world stage, and it has achieved good results in the restructuring of the industry, and as consumers habits are transforming in recent years. The delegation of Shenzhen and Hong Kong entrepreneurs are eager to strengthen their communication with Moutai Group, to continue working together to explore opportunities for collaborations that could create win-win situations for all parties involved, to in turn contribute to the promotion of the Moutai brand.

Chairman Gao Weidong said that the delegation of entrepreneurs present at the symposium are socially responsible businessmen who contribute to charitable and social causes actively, and they are all role models in the business community. Mr. Gao added that Moutai needs to continue growing its social circle, to engage more loyal partners and consumers, as it gathers momentum to grow and move forward as a brand, and he hoped that both sides will continue promoting "Made in China" products through their collaborations.
