"Cheung Kei Family Banquet, A Springtime Celebratory Feast": Cheung Kei Group's 2020 Annual Dinner

On January 18, 2020, Cheung Kei Group's 2020 Annual Dinner with the theme of "Cheung Kei Family Banquet, A Springtime Celebratory Feast" was held in Shenzhen Wuzhou Guest House. Dr. Chen Hongtian, a CPPCC National Committee member, a Justice of the Peace appointed by the HKSAR, and Chairman of Cheung Kei Group, along with Mr. Vincent Chen, Vice President of Cheung Kei Group, and the employees from group's headquarters in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, group's branch in Zhuhai, and property management company attended on this special evening to celebrate the new year.

The banquet was ushered in with a 4-song Chinese pop medley. Vice President Mr. Vincent Chen then took the stage for the New Year address, and a toast to all the employees present. He thanked the group's employees for their hard work and dedication in 2019, and encouraged everyone to continue working hard in the new year, to always strive for better results. He also expressed his well wishes to the employees and their families.

A Pop Medley Officially Kickstarted the Event

After the banquet, the performance for the night officially began. The employees had planned and choreographed the performances, which won raved reviews and rounds of applause from their colleagues. Four employees enacted an original sketch, "The New Year in My Hometown", to introduce the rituals and specialty from their hometown. Their wonderful performance got the audience tickled with laughter, and brought a climax to the evening. A dance performance of the "Qinhuai Melody" teleported everyone to the tranquil waters and rustic sights of the Jiangnan. The harmonious music, and smiling ladies with their paper fans, were a great reenactment of the mellow vibe of Jiangnan. Finally, all the performers took the stage to sing the final tune of the evening together, and the closing the curtains for the wonderful banquet.

The employees and the senior management staff of the group came together on this night for a Cheung Kei banquet, as a wish for the New Year. This warm family gathering is also a testament to how close-knit the group's employees are, it was a reflection of the company's past year, and encapsulates their collective aspirations in the year ahead. In the new year, all Cheung Kei employees will continue to work inunity, through thick and thin, to write a brand new page of glory for the company.
