Dr. Chen Hongtian won the award of "Influential Outstanding Persons" at the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to China

On July 22, 2017, CPPCC member, Justice of the Peace of Hong Kong, Chairman of Cheung Kei Group Dr. Chen Hongtian attended the award ceremony of "celebrating the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland-2017 outstanding persons in Hong Kong" in Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong, and won the award of "Influential Outstanding Persons" at the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China.

In the event, "Harmony leader" Dr. Chen Hongtian, Joseph J.Y. Sung, Vice-Chancellor of Chinese University of Hong Kong won the "Outstanding Person Award" together with other persons; Zeng Xianzi, the so-called Chinese Juzi, political and social celebrity Dai Defeng have been awarded the "Meritorious Person Award"; Yang Zhao, who made a lot of donations and Nellie Fong Wong Kut-man, the queen of charity won the “Charity Person Award”.

The event organizer also held the launching ceremony of “Large portrait biography –2017 outstanding persons in Hong Kong at the 20th anniversary of its return” and the broadcast ceremony of "Documentary of Global Outstanding Chinese". The 60 outstanding persons in Hong Kong included in the portrait biography are the political and social celebrities, the community leaders, the industry leaders and the charity donators. The "Documentary in Global Outstanding Chinese” is formulated by 20 representatives of Hong Kong outstanding people –“Responsibility” by  Dr. Chen Hongtian, “Pure Son” by Zeng Xianzi, “Selfies” by Pan Zongguang, “Observe the Heart” by Yang Zhao,“Justice” by Liu Yuxin, “Fate” by Cai Boli and other 20 documentaries have been lively showed on the awards ceremony in the evening.

The event was jointly organized by World Distinguished Chinese Association, Outstanding Chinese Cultural Promotion Association, Chinese Literature Press and Outstanding Chinese Magazine to honor the achievements and contributions of the outstanding Hong Kong people. The central government of China, government officials and celebrities of Hong Kong and more than 500 guests gathered together in Xiangjiang and witness the event. Those guests are from more than 10 countries and regions such as Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Mainland China, Southeast Asia, the United States and Canada.

In 2011 and 2014, Chairman Chen Hongtian won the Chinese elite Award and Special Contribution Award on the award ceremony of Global Distinguished Chinese held by World Distinguished Chinese Association and Chinese Literature Press.
