Vice President Mr. Chen Pengyu attends charity event; Cheung Kei Group donated RMB10 million to support poverty alleviation in Guangdong

On June 30, 2017, Shenzhen 2017 "Guangdong Poverty Relief Day" and "Shenzhen Charity Day and charity Month" was launched in the Civic Center with Vice President of Cheung Kei Group Mr. Chen Pengyu attended the event. At the event, Vice President Mr. Chen Pengyu, on behalf of Cheung Kei Group donated RMB10 million to Guangdong Province for poverty relief projects and activities in the poverty-stricken areas.

The event also released the "2016 Shenzhen Charity Donation List", Chairman of Cheung Kei Group Dr. Chen Hongtian and the Group donated RMB12.7102 million and RMB6.675 million respectively, and were listed in the individual list and enterprise list. Chairman Dr. Chen Hongtian ranks 2nd in the individual list.

More than 300 people participated in the event whom including Deputy Secretary of Shenzhen Party Committee and Secretary of Politics and Law Committee Li Huanan, Member of CPC Shenzhen Standing Committee and Senior Vice-Mayor Zhang Hu, Deputy Director of Shenzhen Standing Committee of NPC Liu En, Vice Chairman of CPPCC Shenzhen Zhang Xiaoli, municipal authorities, charitable entrepreneurs, citizens, organizations and volunteers.
