In November 2017, Dr. Chen Hongtian, a CPPCC National Committee member, a Justice of the Peace appointed by the Hong Kong SAR, and Cheung Kei Group's Chairman made a donation of 6 million Yuan to Ai You Foundation, to support the foundation in its various charitable programmes. To date, Dr. Chen Hongtian's generous donation has funded 4 children medical assistance projects, helping 59 underprivileged children on their path to better health.

Ai You Foundation utilises donations on its children medical care programmes, operating in accordance with regulations such as the Charity Lawand Regulation on Foundation Administration. The donation made by Dr. Chen Hongtian was able to support the effective operations of Ai You Foundation's children medical assistance projects. As of October 2019, Dr. Chen Hongtian's substantial donation has facilitated 4 projects - “Ai You Young Heart Project”,“Ai You Angel Project”, “Ai You Reborn Project” and “Ai You Children's Medical Industry Support” – bettering the lives of 59 underprivileged children in the province of Guangdong, Jiangxi and Guangxi immeasurably.

Beneficiaries include 9 orphaned and underprivileged young patients who received surgical treatment for congenital heart diseases, 35 orphaned and underprivileged young patients who cumulatively received 280 treatments for leukaemia and tumours, and 15 orphaned and underprivileged young patients who received care and treatment for preterm birth, solid tumours, congenital megacolon, and so on. Ai You Foundation will continue its work on providing medical assistance to children in need, helping Dr. Chen Hongtian's compassionate act to reach out to even more underprivileged children with illnesses living in remote rural areas.

Ai You Foundation was established in 2004, and is the first registered private foundation in China. The foundation is founded and managed by entrepreneurs, and it has launched projects across the country. In May 2018, Ai You was authorised by the government to engage in fundraising publicly, and officially became a foundation. After ten years of development, the foundation has formed a strategic operations matrix covering children medical aid, children welfare, and venture philanthropy.
