Dr. Chen Hongtian Invited to Attend Crime Syndicate Combat Seminar of Shenzhen Municipal CPPCC Committee

May 22, 2018, Dai Beifang, Chairman of Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the CPPCC, led members of the National, Provincial and Municipal Committee of the CPPCC in Shenzhen to the Municipal Public Security Bureau to carry out a seminar titled "Combating Organized Crime and Gang Activity" to examine it sprogress.  Chairman of Cheung Kei Group Dr.Chen Hongtian, CPPCC member and Justice of the Peace of Hong Kong was invited to attend. Wang Pu, Vice Chairman of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the CPPCC, Li Zhenhe, Director of the Municipal Committee of the CPPCC General, Ethnic and Religious Affairs Commission, and other high-level officials of the Municipal CPPCC also joined the seminar, accompanied by officials of the Municipal Public Security Bureau.

The group visited the Anti-Telecom Network Fraud Center of the Criminal Investigation Bureau of Municipal Public Security Bureau and the Intellectual New Criminal Investigation Police-Enterprise Laboratory to learn more about the "crackdown, prevention, management, control and set up" of Center's integrated work process. They also visited the central wiring room to have a deeper understanding of the operation of the central operators, as well as the work of the Joint Investigation Laboratory such as "Guardian Program", "Big Data Investigation", "Video Analysis" and "Video Portrait Inspection and Verification". Moreover, they had a detailed exchange with the person in chargeof the laboratory.

At the "Combating Organized Crime and Gang Activity" seminar, officials of the Municipal Public Security Bureau gave an update on their work. Dr. Chen Hongtian and other CPPCC members fully acknowledged the efforts made by the Bureau to crime crackdown, and anti-telecom network fraud and the "intellectual new police service". They also shared their opinions and suggestions on heated social issues, such as social security work, scam prevention and control, and personal privacy information protection.

As a CPPCC member for three consecutive terms, Dr. Chen Hongtian has been earnestly performing his duties, actively participating in state affairs, giving suggestions and paying attention to public security. He submitted the "Proposal to Raise the Standard of Punishment for Child Trafficking Crimes" in this year's National "Two Sessions", and received responses from the relevant departments. He strongly supported collaboration between the police and the public to build a safe society. He made donation to the Shenzhen Police Foundation so many times, cared for the Shenzhen policeteam, and made a positive contribution to the promotion of a secure society.
