Chairman Dr. Chen Hongtian Visits Dongguan and Meets with Municipal Government Officials

April 26, 2018, Cheung Kei Group Chairman Dr. Chen Hongtian, CPPCC member and Justice of the Peace of Hong Kong, visited Dongguan,along with over 80 Shenzhen-Hong Kong entrepreneurs. The delegation was cordially welcomed by a group of high-level Dongguan Municipal government officials, including Liang Weidong, Secretary of the Dongguan Municipal Party Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Dongguan People's Congress as well as Xiao Yafei, Deputy Secretary of the Dongguan Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Dongguan. The delegation visited the Dongguan Urban Planning Exhibition Hall and exchanged views with the government officials in a seminar.

Secretary Liang Weidong and Chairman Chen Hongtian delivered speeches respectively. Luo Bin, Director-General of Development and Reform Commission of Dongguan, shared Dongguan's role in developing Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.

Chairman Chen Hongtian said that Dongguan offers an excellent investment environment with good government officials and citizens.Shenzhen-Hong Kong entrepreneurs, who attended the seminar, invest in and open business in Dongguan. They also shared over ten active and prospective investment projects.

The seminaris in a good atmosphere

Secretary Liang Weidong said that Dongguan is now at the stage of structural transformation and upgrading. Its ecological system, industry clusters and government services are much enhanced. Dongguan enjoys the enormous opportunities brought by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area and welcomes entrepreneurs to come and invest in Dongguan for mutual development.

The seminar

A group of significant Dongguan Municipal government officials participated in the seminar, including Bai Tao, Member of the Standing Committee of Dongguan Municipal Party Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Dongguan, Yang Xiaotang, Member of the Standing Committee of Dongguan Municipal Party Committee and Head of Publicity Department of Dongguan Municipal Party Committee, high-ranking officials from Development and Reform Commission, Bureau of Commerce, Bureau of Economic and Information Technology as well as different districts and towns. Executives from Shenzhen-Hong Kong enterprises, representatives of banks and Liu Nanxing, Vice Secretary of Harmony Club also joined the visit.
